Thierry BIDET is a cross-disciplinary artist (architect, dancer and singer) creating architecture from the very small scale to structures resonating with the landscape, choreographies and recordings designed for videodance, and filmed directly in those spaces or in already existing ones selected for their spatiality and atmosphere.

I aim at combining experimental artwork such as architecture and contemporary dance with popular media such as music-video, encouraging the porosity between different disciplines, beyond professional codes and boundaries, and between different platforms.

Architecture, dance and music equally work regarding composition and structure, such as the repetition of elements building up together sequences, the tensions between different parts, contrast of textures and sound, dislocations and ruptures, in order to create meaningful bodies of work.
